My wife and I originally showed up looking to buy a used vehicle. After the test drive, we decided it wasn't really what we were looking for. Then we decided to test out a Sportage, and my wife liked it immediately. The bonus here was that we didn't feel pressured at all. It was about as enjoyable experience as you can have, spending that amount of money. As far as the vehicle goes, it is pretty comfortable to drive, even considering that I am 6'4". There seems to be a fair amount of features on the base AWD model we bought, but one important one we think of as a standard feature, is mirror defrosters, and they weren't included. Highway noise seems to be a little louder than we are used to, but all in all, we're quite pleased with the bang for the buck we got with our Sportage.
My wife and I bought our 2012 Kia Soul in November of 2011. We were impressed with the low-key, no pressure sales approach. The new owners' dinner was a special treat where we met the people who run the sales and service department, and they genuinely seemed to value our business. I was disappointed in the mileage of the Soul because it didn't measure up to expected standards. This year the company acknowledged a mistake in the written standards and will compensate us financially for the the lower than expected mileage. The company is willing to acknowledge a mistake and compensate us. They seem to want our business and treat us kindly. The vehicle is a good one.
